What we collect when you enquire, book or sit in the chair, why we need it, and how long we keep it.

Who we are
Linework Studio is a fine-line tattoo studio at 14 Columbia Road, London E2 7NN. We are responsible for the personal details you share with us. You can reach us at hello@linework.studio.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry: your name, email address, preferred artist, the idea, placement and size, and any reference links you add.
When you book: your contact details, the date and time of your session and your deposit payment (handled by our payment provider; we never see your full card number).
On the day: a consent form with your date of birth, photo ID check and any health details that affect tattooing, such as allergies, medication or skin conditions.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, plan your design, confirm your booking and send reminders. To tattoo you safely. To meet the record-keeping rules of our local tattoo licence. We never sell your details or use them for advertising.
Health information
Health details are sensitive, so only your artist and the studio manager can see them. We collect them only because we need them to tattoo you safely, and we keep the signed form for as long as our licence requires.
Photos of your tattoo
We photograph our work once it has healed. We only share a photo of your tattoo, on this site or on social media, if you have said yes. You can change your mind at any time and we will take it down.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run the studio: our website and form host, our email provider and our payment provider. Each only receives what it needs to do its job.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t turn into a booking are deleted after 12 months. Booking and consent records are kept for as long as our licence requires, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Email hello@linework.studio and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies it needs to work and simple, privacy-friendly visit statistics. We do not use advertising cookies.
